Since we are based at Cancun International Airport, we would like to extend some recommendations that may be of your interest in order to avoid any inconveniences or delay at the time you need to take your flight.

Tips for boarding at Cancun International Airport:

• 1.-Only liquids, gels and aerosols for cosmetic use and personal care will be allowed in your carry-on luggage in individual containers not exceeding 100 milliliters (or equivalent) in a resealable plastic bag of 20 by 20 centimeters not exceeding a total amount of 1 liter (or equivalent) per passenger. The content should fit easily into the plastic bag which has completely sealed.
• 2.-In regards to alcoholic beverages, the passenger may take up to 5 liters in the carry-on luggage as long as it’s purchased at the stores located inside the airport at the departure lounges area. All alcoholic beverages that have been purchased outside the airport will necessarily need to be inside the checked baggage.
• 3.- Flammable items, explosive materials, high intensity lamps with bulbs and batteries, domestic chlorine for pools and hot tubs, laundry bleach or disinfectant, gun shaped or domestic use lighters that exceed nine inches, friction matches, chemical, biological and radiological toxic or infectious substances are strictly forbidden on board in both checked baggage and carry-on luggage
• 4.- People with disabilities are allowed to bring: crutches, canes, wheelchairs and electric or non-electric mobility aids, as long as they comply with the safety procedures and packaging for shipment.
